有一次我经过一座人口众多的城市，头脑里为将来记下了
它的场面、它的建筑、它的风土人情、它的传统。
但是现在，对整个城市我只记得一位我偶然遇到的女人，
因为爱而记住了她。
日复一日夜复一夜我们都在一起——其他的
我早已遗忘多时。
我肯定，我只记住这个热情地投入我怀抱的女人。
我们又一次漫步四方，我们相爱，我们又一次分离。
她又一次牵着我的手，我不应该离去。
我看见她在我身边，痛苦和颤抖，双唇无言。

从前听歌，硬摇滚乐队的慢歌都特别好听，比如 The Rolling Stone 有 Angie，Guns N’ Roses 有 Don't Cry，Aerosmith 有 Dream On，Ozzy Osbourne 有 Goodbye to Romance。

惠特曼大多数诗给我的印象也像是虬髯客砸吉他，拿读睡推荐过的惠特曼举例，写大海是“古老强劲的歌”，写秋天是“秋天的货轮已经喷烟离岸”，写冬天是“一声声农夫的旋律，链枷的旋律”，都很 Hard Rock。

今天这首诗，一开始也是面向未来的呀，雄心勃勃来到城市，吞并八荒，是要“为将来”写作！

结果，偶遇了一个女人，生离死别，画风就柔情凄伤了起来……

整个城市的将来都被抛诸脑后，唯一记住的是过去那一位恋人。多么好，好得让人想砸台灯！
